Dr. Bobbie Jeanne Little has a 45-year career as an educator. She began as a Reading Tutor and later became a teacher and assistant principal in Anson County Schools. She also served as a principal in Montgomery and Wake Counties and was the Director of Education for the Central Region of North Carolina's Department of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, from which she retired after 33 years. Following her state retirement, she worked for 10.5 years as a college professor and clinical supervisor at Shaw University and has been an adjunct professor at UNC Pembroke. She earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, and her Education Specialist (Ed.S.) and Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degrees from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is currently serving her fourth term on the Anson County School Board and has previously served as its chairman and vice chairman.
