Boe Lopez is a fourth-generation rancher from Springer, New Mexico, where he currently serves as Mayor. He runs a cow-calf operation at the Diamond Arrow Ranch. His family is also involved in a plumbing, heating, and septic business, and has interests in telepharmacies in New Mexico. Lopez holds a Master's Degree in Agriculture Business from New Mexico State University and a bachelor's degree in Business Finance from the University of New Mexico. He has served on numerous boards, including the United States Cattlemen's Association, New Mexico Farm and Livestock Bureau, and is the chairman for the Colfax County Soil and Water Conservation District. He is also an incumbent on the South Central Colfax County Special Hospital District Board.
