Dr. Bonnie H. Ennis is a non-partisan candidate for the Board of Education in Maryland's Councilmanic District 6. Born and raised in Wicomico County, she graduated from James M. Bennett High and earned degrees from Salisbury University. She received her doctorate in Educational Leadership from Wilmington University in 2011. Dr. Ennis dedicated 44 years to Wicomico County Public Schools as a teacher and district administrator before retiring in 2022. She also served as an adjunct instructor and co-authored books on mathematics teaching strategies. Previously elected as an at-large member in 2022, she resides in Salisbury with her husband, David.
