Bonnie L. Storbakken, a native of Grand Forks, North Dakota, was born in 1972. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 1999 and her Juris Doctor in 2004 from the University of North Dakota, being admitted to the state bar the same year. Her career includes roles as a staff attorney, private legal practice, and public service positions with the North Dakota Department of Labor and Human Rights Commission, the Office of Governor Jack Dalrymple as counsel and senior policy advisor, and as Executive Secretary for the North Dakota Board of Medicine. Currently, she serves as a District Court Judge for the South Central Judicial District judgeship #7, a position she was elected to in 2020. She runs her campaigns as a nonpartisan candidate, committed to independence, grassroots funding, anti-corruption, and civility.
