Brandon Janisse is a candidate for Sequim City Council Position No. 5 in Sequim, Washington — 2025 General Election. Running as Non-Partisan.

Brandon Janisse graduated from Sequim High School in 2003 and is a U.S. Army veteran who served a tour in Iraq. He holds degrees in Criminal Justice and Political Science. Janisse was first elected to the Sequim City Council in 2017 and was reelected in 2021. He has served as Deputy Mayor and was elected Mayor by the council in January 2024 for a two-year term. He has earned a Certificate of Municipal Leadership and an Advanced Certificate of Municipal Leadership from the Association of Washington Cities. His professional experience includes working as a control technician at the county jail.
