AI has been empirically shown to be detrimental to the psychological development of children. I believe we need to limit access to AI products in the classroom until high school, with safety etiquette built into our digital citizenship curriculum. The reality is that this technology is freely available all around us, we need to prepare our students to safely navigate it before they utilize it.

I am fiercely apposed to the development of AI data centers. I am proud to have been a leading advocate in the no data centers in SGV coalition as the representative from the Rowland Heights Community Council. I've gone from city council to city council demanding moratoriums and resolutions against the developments of these centers which pose a threat to not only our environment but our schools and communities.

I believe every student has a right to public education and specifically a public education that works for them. As the only candidate who actually works in Rowland Unified, I believe we need to expand the accessibility of our programs. That's why I'm pushing for: - Free in-person tutoring - More aides in the classroom - Vocational courses and expanded CTE pathways - Competitive AP courses - Standardized testing reform & supports We have a truly amazing school district, but we need to make sure every student can thrive and succeed in it.

As a Rowland Unified staff member, I believe school staff and teachers are the backbone of our education system. We need to make sure we're giving them the means to live a life of dignity through a livable wage and livable benefits. But paying our staff is not enough, we need to make sure they have the tools to succeed. We need to make sure we lower class sizes and ensure all our staff have the safety equipment they need to do their job (such as warehouse workers).
