Brandon Shippy

Brandon Shippy is a Republican member of the Idaho State Senate, representing District 9. He assumed office on July 18, 2024, appointed by Governor Brad Little to fill a vacancy. A businessman, Shippy owns and operates Shippy Sprinkler LLC in New Plymouth, Idaho. A Payette County native, he is active in his community, serving as a church deacon and volunteering. He and his wife, Rakel, have three children and are foster care providers. He is also a precinct committeeman and Republican Youth Chairperson. Shippy is running for re-election in the May 2026 Republican primary for District 9.
