Braxten Rutherford

Braxten Rutherford, a 35-year-old Democrat, is seeking election to the Utah House of Representatives for District 46. A lifelong resident of the Sandy/Draper area, Rutherford is a professional freelance writer and teacher at the Waterford School. His background includes experience as a youth counselor for high-risk teens and as an operations lead at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. He previously ran for Draper city mayor, securing 27% of the vote. He advanced from the Democratic convention and his primary was canceled, preparing him for the general election against incumbent Cal Roberts.
