Brenda Bandy

Brenda Bandy is a Democratic candidate for the Kansas House of Representatives, District 67, in the 2026 election. She serves as the Executive Director and co-founder of the Kansas Breastfeeding Coalition, Inc., where she advocates for policies that support breastfeeding families and works to remove barriers to human milk feeding. An International Board Certified Lactation Consultant since 2010, she holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Kansas State University. Bandy is a vocal proponent of fully funding special education and implementing family-forward policies to bolster the state's economy and communities. She has testified in support of programs like the Nursery Program for Incarcerated Moms and actively participates in various state and national health councils and associations.
