Brett Egbert is an instructional designer for higher education, specializing in math and information technology. He was previously a high school mathematics teacher in Utah from 2012-2020, where he served as a math department chair. He holds a Master's degree in Mathematics Education and a Bachelor's in Data Analytics from Western Governors University. He moved to Sumas in 2020 and is active in the community, serving in a leadership role for the nonprofit Friends of the Sumas Library (FOSL) and as a volunteer math tutor. This is his first time running for elected office.
