Brian Fitting is a lifelong resident of the Lambertville and West Amwell area, having graduated from South Hunterdon High School. He has been a licensed electrical contractor for 25 years and was a partner in a restaurant and brewery business for seven years, helping it expand to three locations. His community involvement includes 21 years of service on the West Amwell Zoning Board, past membership and presidency of the New Hope Chamber of Commerce, and a 44-year membership as an SAL (Sons of the American Legion) member of American Legion Post #120.
