Brian Irizarry is a graduate of the University of Georgia and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served as an Air Traffic Control Officer and deployed to Afghanistan. Following his military service, he earned a degree in Mathematics Education. Irizarry currently teaches Spanish and math at Baraga Area Schools. He also serves on the Houghton City Council and is a former Mayor of Houghton. He is running for the Michigan House of Representatives in District 110.
