Brittany Barnhardt is a candidate for Mayor of the Town of Granite Quarry in Granite Quarry, North Carolina — 2025 General Election. Running as Non-Partisan.

Brittany Barnhardt is a lifelong resident of Rowan County and the current mayor of Granite Quarry. Before entering politics, she attended Wingate University and subsequently worked as a paramedic with Rowan County EMS and Novant Health. She also has a background in real estate through her family's business, Honeycutt Real Estate. Prior to her election as mayor, Barnhardt was actively involved in local government, serving on the town's Zoning Board, its Revitalization Committee, and the executive board of the Granite Quarry Fire Department Auxiliary. She was first elected mayor in November 2021, defeating her opponent with over 70% of the vote. In July 2025, she was appointed by the North Carolina Senate to the Rowan-Cabarrus Community College Board of Trustees for a four-year term.
