Brock Hammond

Brock Hammond was appointed as a Judge to the Superior Court of Los Angeles County by Governor Gavin Newsom in August 2023. Prior to his appointment, he served as a Deputy Alternate Public Defender at the Los Angeles County Alternate Public Defender's Office from 2005 to 2023. His earlier career includes serving as a Deputy Public Defender at the Los Angeles County Public Defender's Office from 2003 to 2005 and at the Orange County Public Defender's Office from 2002 to 2003. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Davis School of Law.
