Bruce Bosch

Bruce Bosch is the incumbent mayor of Sumas, having assumed office in 2022. Prior to his mayoralty, he served for 12 years on the city council. His term as mayor began in the immediate aftermath of a severe flooding disaster that devastated the city. A significant portion of his work has been dedicated to flood recovery, rebuilding the city, and engaging in meetings to mitigate future flooding issues, including discussions with Canadian officials. In addition to his public service, Bosch is the President of Bosch Customs Brokerage, Inc., a local business that was also impacted by the floods.
