Primary election
Past campaign details are available on the full race page.
Bryan Goldberg, a Democrat, is running for the Tennessee House of Representatives District 18. This marks a potential rematch against incumbent Republican Elaine Davis, who defeated him in 2024. Goldberg, born in Miami, Florida, earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2007 and has a background as a businessman. He is the only announced Democrat for the District 18 seat, which covers parts of south and west Knox County. Goldberg advocates for a temporary emergency reduction of the state gasoline tax when prices exceed $4 a gallon, pledging to introduce legislation for this relief if elected. He garnered support from moderate Republicans in his previous bid, with former state Rep. Eddie Mannis serving as treasurer for his 2026 campaign.
