Bryan Yambe was appointed to the Pierce County Council in January 2025. He previously served on the Fife City Council for 11 years, including three years as Deputy Mayor. A lifelong resident of the district, he graduated from Decatur High School and attended Highline Community College. His father was an immigrant from Japan, and his mother is a descendant of internment survivors. His public service is focused on making government more responsive and accessible.
