Byron Lowell Donalds is an American politician serving as the U.S. representative for Florida's 19th congressional district since 2021. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2016 to 2020. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Donalds earned a bachelor's degree in finance and marketing from Florida State University and worked in finance before entering politics. In February 2025, he announced his candidacy for Governor of Florida.
