Caitlyn Gegen

Caitlyn Gegen is a progressive candidate running in the Democratic primary for U.S. House to represent Georgia's 9th Congressional District in 2026. A University of Georgia and London School of Economics alumna, she holds degrees in international relations and public administration. A resident of Suwanee, Gegen has worked in community organizing and local government since 2018. She is campaigning on issues including human rights, affordable living, and universal healthcare. Her platform advocates for raising the federal minimum wage to at least $15/hour, investing in clean energy, breaking up corporate monopolies, and protecting women's reproductive rights. Gegen stated she is running to defend democracy and provide a bold voice for her community.
