Carly James has been a small business owner in Whatcom County for over 20 years. She is the co-owner of Bison Bookbinding & Letterpress, which has two locations in downtown Bellingham. James also owns Gold Ink, an accounting services and consulting firm, and Yacht Dogs, a hot dog stand. She holds a B.S. in accounting from Western Washington University. This is her first time running for public office.
