Carmen Broesder is a network operations engineer, certified wireless technician, and community builder who ran for Governor of Colorado in the 2026 Democratic primary. Announcing her campaign in October 2025, she pledged to bring competence, compassion, and accountability to state leadership, with a philosophy of "Less Politics. More Progress." Broesder advocates for healthcare freedom, rural revitalization, and is openly pro-Second Amendment. She has led community initiatives supporting housing stability, healthcare access, and disaster resilience. Although she completed a candidate survey, she will not appear on the June 30, 2026, primary ballot.
