Carol Najera is a judge for the Superior Court of Los Angeles County in California, a position she has held since 2015. Before being elected to the bench, she served as a Deputy District Attorney for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office for 28 years. During her time as a prosecutor, she worked in the major crimes unit and was notably one of the prosecutors in the retrial of the Menendez brothers. Najera earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law.
