Carolyne M. Perez

Carolyne M. Perez is a graduate of Ilwaco High School, class of 2006, within the Ocean Beach School District. She was appointed to the District 5 board seat in February 2024 to fill a vacancy. Previously, Perez worked for the district from 2022 to 2023 as a bilingual paraeducator and a graduation specialist for the high school's migrant program. In this role, she assisted students who were deficient in credits, guided those in Running Start classes, and helped Hispanic students connect with college counselors and financial aid opportunities. She has two children attending schools in the district.
