Cassie Franklin is the first woman to be elected Mayor of Everett, taking office in 2018. Prior to being mayor, she was elected to the Everett City Council in 2015. Before her career in public office, she was the CEO of Cocoon House, a non-profit organization providing services to at-risk and homeless youth. She holds a bachelor's degree from Lewis & Clark College and completed graduate-level studies at the University of Munich in Germany.
