Cathi Forbes

Cathi Forbes is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 43B. Initially appointed to the legislature in October 2019, she was subsequently elected to a full four-year term in 2022. In her capacity as a delegate, Forbes serves as a member of the influential Appropriations Committee and holds the leadership position of Chair for the Pensions Subcommittee, where she addresses state retirement and pension system matters. Before her tenure in public office, she worked professionally as a mediation coordinator for the Baltimore County Orphans' Court. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Forbes has also been a dedicated and long-standing community and education advocate in the greater Towson area.
