Charlene M. Notarcola

Charlene M. Notarcola is the Republican incumbent Clerk of the Circuit Court for Cecil County, Maryland. Born in Elkton, she attended Perryville High School and Cecil College. Notarcola has dedicated her career to the Cecil County court system since 1985, starting as a clerk typist. She later served as Jury Commissioner from 1986 to 1997, Judicial Assistant from 1997 to 2011, and Chief Deputy Clerk from 2011 to 2015. She was appointed Clerk of the Circuit Court in August 2015. During her tenure, Notarcola has held leadership roles, including Chair of the Conference of Circuit Court Clerks and member of the Maryland Judicial Council.
