Charles Tilburg

Charles Tilburg, a scientist, teacher, and "adopted Mainer" from Buxton, is seeking the Democratic nomination for State Representative of District 137. A professor of Marine Sciences at the University of New England, he holds degrees in engineering and oceanography. Tilburg, who grew up in a military family, is raising two children with his wife. He is running to address rising housing costs, strengthen local schools, protect natural resources, and promote affordability in Maine. He champions bipartisan solutions to build secure lives for families in Buxton and Hollis.
