Charley Thomson

Charley Thomson, a Charles City native, is an incumbent Iowa State Representative for District 58. Before his first term, he was a political outsider, having built a career as a lawyer and businessman with over 35 years in the private sector. A proven conservative and Constitutional Conservative, Thomson champions economic development for rural Iowa by cutting red tape. He is committed to fighting government overreach and policies from the "far left," advocating for individual freedoms and rights. He also seeks to expand educational freedom and counter what he views as "far-left propaganda" and "indoctrination" in public schools.
