Charnell D. Ferguson is a Democratic candidate for Prince George's County Executive. A native of the county, she is a public policy advocate and former NAACP leader. Ferguson is a two-time graduate of Bowie State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Master of Public Administration. While a student, she re-established the university's NAACP chapter. Her public service career includes serving as the Maryland State NAACP Youth & College Division President and on the National Board of Directors for NAACP Region 7. She has also worked in the Maryland State House and served as a Director of Constituent Services for an At-Large Councilmember.
