She earned a Bachelor of Science from Nicholls State University and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. She has over 13 years of teaching experience and has held roles such as coach, mentor, and content leader. Outside of education, she is a small business owner, running Cookie's Thrift Store with her family.
