Cheryl A. Golek is an incumbent Democratic State Representative for Maine's 99th House District, representing parts of Brunswick and Harpswell. First assuming office in December 2022, she is seeking re-election in the 2026 Democratic primary. Her legislative service includes the 131st and 132nd sessions, where she serves on the Housing and Economic Development and Marine Resources committees. Prior to her legislative career, Golek co-founded The Vicarage By The Sea, a dementia care center, with her wife Johanna Wigg. She also advocated as a volunteer lobbyist for Wabanaki sovereignty recognition and was appointed to a commission on zoning and land use restrictions in 2021. She lives in Harpswell, Maine.
