Cheryl F. Stallings

Cheryl Stallings is the incumbent commissioner for District 3 of the Wake County Board of Commissioners, first elected in 2022. She is a psychologist and co-owner of a child, family, and adolescent psychology practice based in Raleigh. Stallings previously served on the Apex Town Council from 2019 to 2022. She earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and a Ph.D. in psychology from North Carolina State University, as well as a master's degree in psychology from East Carolina University. A resident of Wake County for over 30 years, she was born in Suffolk, Virginia.
