Chris Banning is an entrepreneur and Republican State Representative for Oklahoma's District 24, first assuming office in November 2022. He holds a Business Management Degree and has a background in business acquisitions, recognized nationally for employing veterans and contracting for the military. A U.S. Air Force veteran, he served in Operation Provide Comfort and volunteered during the Oklahoma City bombing. Currently the CEO of Banning Investment Group, he also serves as Assistant Republican Whip. Banning co-sponsored the Talyn Bain Act, a law signed in May 2026 to enhance school zone safety, taking effect in November 2026. He is seeking re-election in the June 2026 Republican primary.
