Chris Bloomquist is a husband, father, engineer, and the founder of a climate recruiting company. The son of a Chilean immigrant and a fourth-generation farmer, he is rooted in service and environmental stewardship. A 20-year technology industry veteran, he has built communities through volunteer leadership with the KD Hall Foundation, PNW Climate Week, Habitat for Humanity, and Water1st. As a Chilean American whose family has political roots, Bloomquist is running for State Representative to champion civil rights, economic and environmental justice, and a democratic way of life. His platform focuses on growing Washington’s green economy, investing in education, supporting small businesses, strengthening public safety, and ensuring families can prosper in a more sustainable Washington.
