Chris Elder

Chris Elder is a Republican candidate seeking election to the Washington House of Representatives, District 44-Position 1, in the 2026 primary. A 20-year Navy veteran of Naval Aviation and a Snohomish County resident for over 30 years, Elder brings a background as a small business owner, real estate professional, and community volunteer. He aims to bring a people-first perspective to Olympia, advocating for common-sense solutions. His platform prioritizes accountability, opportunity, and safe, strong communities, focusing on accountable spending, lower taxes, and safer neighborhoods. Elder, a graduate of the Navy’s Senior Enlisted Leadership Academy, also created the Mil2Vet podcast to assist veterans. He seeks to continue his service to others as a representative.
