Chris Grover graduated from Cheney High School in 1986. He served in the U.S. Navy for 23 years, retiring in 2008 as a lieutenant commander. Since 2009, he has worked as a financial adviser with Edward Jones. His political experience includes five years on the Cheney planning commission and four years on the city council before being elected mayor. He is currently serving his second term as mayor.
