Chris Jones is a Democratic candidate for U.S. House in Arkansas's 2nd Congressional District. Raised in Pine Bluff, he earned a B.S. in physics and mathematics from Morehouse College (1999) and an M.S. (2003) and Ph.D. in urban planning from MIT. His career has included work as a physicist, minister, and nonprofit leader. He was the Democratic nominee for Governor of Arkansas in 2022 and is running for Congress on a platform of affordability, accountability, and opportunity for all.
