Chris Kleinjans is a Democratic candidate for the Michigan State Senate in District 31. He is a U.S. Navy veteran who served in the Pacific Fleet in support of Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm. Kleinjans previously served as an Ottawa County Commissioner for District 2. He holds a bachelor's degree in history and a master's degree in public administration. Additionally, he has spent 25 years working in the nonprofit sector, including as a community nutrition instructor.
