Chris Dockery, a Republican, is running for the Georgia House of Representatives District 9. A veteran, small businessman, and public servant, he graduated from the University of North Georgia and served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army, including a tour in Iraq. He also served six years as a law enforcement officer before founding DockCo Construction in 1996, which he still operates. Dockery is currently in his fourth term as Lumpkin County Commission Chairman and holds leadership roles in the Association of County Commissioners. He is campaigning on defending conservative values and protecting families against what he terms the "Leftist agenda" in Georgia.
