Christopher Gallant is an Army National Guard Black Hawk pilot, volunteer firefighter, and former air traffic controller running for the U.S. House to represent New York's 1st Congressional District. A native of Suffolk County, he joined the National Guard at age 17 and completed multiple deployments to the Middle East. Gallant also worked for the FAA and served as a local union president. He is running as a Democrat to focus on infrastructure, healthcare, and addressing the cost of living.
