Christopher Richardson

Representative Chris Richardson, a Republican, serves Colorado House District 56. A proud Elbert County resident, he is a retired U.S. Army Colonel with 23 years of distinguished service, including combat deployments. Richardson also served as an Elbert County Commissioner, bringing extensive public leadership experience. In the General Assembly, he is a ranking member of the Business Affairs & Labor Committee and a member of the Transportation, Housing & Local Government Committee. He advocates for education reform and local control, sponsoring legislation on issues such as motor vehicle stunt driving, automated driving systems, and election integrity, while also promoting fiscal responsibility and free expression.
