Christopher T. Saunders is a New Bedford attorney at Saunders & Saunders, LLP, and a graduate of Bishop Stang High School, Salve Regina University, and New England School of Law. He served as a Bristol County Commissioner from 1997 until 2011, when the County Commissioners appointed him County Treasurer; he has since won re-election unopposed and sits on the Bristol County Retirement Board. He describes himself as fiscally conservative and initiated the Bristol County Prescription Drug Program.
