Cindy Byrd

Cindy Byrd is the incumbent Oklahoma State Auditor and Inspector, serving since January 2019 and the first woman elected to the office. A Certified Public Accountant with a bachelor's degree in accounting, she brings two decades of experience from the State Auditor's office, where she rose to Deputy State Auditor. A fearless conservative leader, Byrd is committed to fighting government waste and corruption. She is running for Oklahoma State Treasurer in 2026, a recent switch from her initial Lieutenant Governor campaign.
