Cindy Haverkamp has a background as a public school educator, having taught in Texas and Washington. She holds an undergraduate degree in Education with a major in English and a minor in Psychology, and a Master's in Transformational Leadership from Seattle University. She has previously worked as a Communications Associate for the Pacific Northwest Conference of The United Methodist Church. Her community involvement includes serving as a Board Supervisor for the Pierce Conservation District and as Vice Chair and Secretary for the Chambers-Clover Creek Watershed Council. She lives in Steilacoom with her husband and two daughters.
