Claire Wilson is an American educator and a Democratic incumbent Washington State Senator for District 30, serving since 2019. An alumna of Washington State University and the University of Northern Colorado, she is seeking re-election in the 2026 primary. Wilson chairs the Human Services Committee and is vice-chair of Early Learning & K-12 Education. Her legislative priorities include education, early learning, child welfare, and community safety. She champions tax reform, expanded childcare access, comprehensive sexual health education, and juvenile justice and corrections reforms. As Assistant Majority Whip and an openly LGBTQ lawmaker, she strives to support Washington families and ensure the state thrives.
