He has worked as an adjunct college professor and taught electrical skills to incarcerated individuals through the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. Keissieh later joined the California Department of Transportation as an electrical engineer. He is running for the U.S. House to represent California's 40th Congressional District.
