Colby Hoffman is a Democratic candidate for the Massachusetts House of Representatives, 4th Hampden District (Westfield & Southampton). He grew up in a working-class family in Enfield, Connecticut — his father, an Army veteran, was a mail handler for the U.S. Postal Service while his mother worked as a waitress. He attended community college before earning a Bachelor's degree in Political Science (minor in History) from Central Connecticut State University in 2013. He has worked in customer-service and office roles, including six years leading the membership team for a large independent auto auction company, and for the past two years has been a customer-service specialist at a Big Y supermarket. He and his wife Dixie have been Westfield homeowners since 2019.
