Colin Furcht is a former Cornelius Town Commissioner who was elected in 2021 and lost a re-election bid in 2023. After his term, he served on the town's Planning Board. During his time as commissioner, he served on several committees, including Parks and Rec, the LKN Chamber of Commerce, Visit Lake Norman, and the Land Development Code Advisory Board. He has previously served as president for the Jetton Cove HOA and the Rockridge Shores Community Association.
