Colleen McAleer

Colleen McAleer has served as the Port of Port Angeles Commissioner for District 1 since January 2014. She was the first woman elected to the board in the port's history. Before becoming a commissioner, she worked for the Port as the Director of Business Development. McAleer is a decorated combat veteran who served for ten years in the U.S. Army as a helicopter and fixed-wing pilot and as a military intelligence officer. She graduated from the Florida Institute of Technology on a full scholarship. Her professional experience also includes owning a commercial real estate brokerage company, serving as president of the Washington Business Alliance, and her current role as the Executive Director of the Clallam County Economic Development Corporation.
