Conrad Lee is the longest-serving member of the Bellevue City Council, first elected in 1994. He served as mayor from 2012 to 2013 and was Bellevue's first Asian American mayor. Born in Kunming, China, he grew up in Hong Kong and moved to the United States for college in 1958. He holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Washington. His career includes time as an engineer for Boeing and as a regional administrator for the U.S. Small Business Administration. He has lived in Bellevue since 1967.
